The Ecuadorian Chocolate
Our cocoa is sourced from farms in the Los Rios and Esmeraldas regions of Ecuador. These regions are known for their more floral notes, with Esmeraldas being slightly more powerful of the two in terms of flavour. Together they create a nice balanced profile with tasting notes of jasmine and roasted coffee. The type of beans grown in these regions is the 'Nacional’ variety which has been grown there for over 5,000 years.
Ethical Sourcing
Our chocolate is part of the Cacao-Trace programme and our cocoa powder and sugar is Fairtrade certified.
Packaging
We are taking a responsible approach to how our hot chocolate is packaged in order to minimise our impact on the planet for future generations, including our daughters.
Our innovative packaging is made from LDPE4 (low density polyethylene) recyclable film, is resealable and contains a valve for freshness.
Storage
To keep this hot chocolate at its best, store in an airtight container away from heat, light and moisture.

How to make guidelines (adjust to taste)

Filter
Use 60-70g of ground coffee per litre of water dependent on desired brew strength.

Cafetiere
Use 14g of coffee per 220ml of water (not boiling), blossom for 4 minutes, plunge and enjoy.

Espresso machine
Refer to manufacturer’s instructions for machine use.
